Everything started on October 1, 1945: With the official business registration by Dr. Georg Maurer for the “Laboratory for Physical Research and Development”, the foundation for our company today was laid. What began as a visionary idea in the difficult post-war years developed over the decades into a successful business through hard work and innovation. In the past decades, we have achieved a lot, built strong foundations, and celebrated many milestones. Especially Klaus und Jürgen Reger have shaped our company with great dedication and played a major role in developing and producing reliable, durable, and high-quality pyrometers.

A New Chapter Begins

Today, we are starting the next chapter: Dr. Chrsitoph Friese has taken over the management of Maurer Optoelectronics. This is a change at the top, but one thing remains absolutely the same: our philosophy. Together with our experienced and proven team, we will continue to be your reliable partner in the future.
